Two-factor verification
Two-factor verification serves to verify the signer and consists of two factors. The first authentication factor is your account credentials, and the second authentication factor is the NFQES hardware token or the NFQES Qualified Authenticator mobile app. Thanks to two-factor verification, the security of signing is significantly increased and the risk of misuse of your electronic signature is minimized.

How is two-factor authentication used?
In NFQES, two-factor authentication allows verification through a hardware token or a mobile application.
Hardware token
It is a device that can generate a unique code that is necessary for electronic signing. Any level of electronic signature can be signed through hardware token authentication. In addition, the hardware token is secured by a PIN code, which prevents misuse of the token by an unauthorized person.
NFQES Authenticator
It is a mobile application that is intended for verification when signing with a simple electronic signature and an advanced electronic signature. This application does not require security chips in the mobile device for verification and is therefore intended for all mobile devices with the Android or iOS system. However, due to the absence of a security chip, it is not possible to sign documents with a qualified electronic signature through this application.
NFQES Qualified Authenticator
It is a mobile application through which it is possible to verify the signer who signs with any signature. This group includes qualified electronic signature, advanced electronic signature, and simple electronic signature. However, to use this application, the mobile device must have a security chip. Android mobile devices should include the Strongbox chip and iOS mobile devices should include the Knox chip.

Using a hardware token
